We had a great time at this rental. The area is very user friendly for staying local, driving around, or getting shuttled to different excursions. I never once felt unsafe in the Playa Flamingo Marina area, nor in the Guanacasta area. The rental is a 4 minute walk to a semi-private beach, just as pictured. The condo is clean and has plenty of space for 8. We used the kitchen for meals for most of our stay, and everything worked great. The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, with plenty of space and towels. The owner is very communicative and responsive. Costa Rica was all we hoped it would be, and this rental made that all possible. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Great beach view and access to the beach. No pool, uncomfortable to bring things up to the third floor, close walking distance to the Marina with exc restaurants, pharmacy and Doctors in case of emergencies. Not enough kitchen utensils to use the dishwasher but enough for 4 adults and 3 kids. Enough random parking space outside. Not great internet connectivity to watch movies but enough to work from the balcony. Great time and location if you have a car to go to different beaches.

Mariela, our concierge was spectacular! We were coming from another location in Costa Rica and we were able to get into our condo early, she was responsive to any question I had, helped us get a tent/canopy on the private beach and arranged our transportation. Our experience with Mariela and Blue Zone was wonderful!

We had a great time here, the private beach made it really unique. And even during the afternoon, when it was in shade, Playa Flamingo is just 12 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive away. There are a few restaurants in the nearby, all looks great, unfortunately food is below standards, but that's generally true about Costa Rica. The Marina is really nice too.

This was a pretty nice place to stay although it was smaller than described/expected. The beach front location made up for a lot. It was clean and in pretty good condition minus a few broken utensils, low water pressure in the showers and some fixtures that weren’t easy to use at first sight. Overall it was a good stay and relaxing. The best part was definitely the location, views and beautiful beach access. The hostess Abby was very responsive, friendly and had good suggestions on food & was always readily available if we had questions. Cheers overall!

Condo was very clean and renovated. It was nice having a semi private beach. Although we learned from some locals that there is a potentially poisonous tree on that beach, called manchineel. Definitely don’t eat the apples or sit under the tree during a rainstorm. You can research it for yourself but after learning about it we avoided that beach. We have three young kids (5, 3, and 11 months) and the balcony was very alarming for its unsafe banister. However, we did know that going into it because of the pictures. The condo is up on the third floor and there isn’t an elevator. The shower by the beach wasn’t working while we were there so we tracked in a bunch of sand but at least there was a broom to clean up after ourselves. All in all it was a nice place to stay.

Wow, you can’t beat this location!! While I’m sure many condos in the area have amazing views, this place has the views and the semi-private beach!! The beach puts this place above all others in my opinion. The water was wonderful and the waves are much gentler here than at nearby beaches, including nearby Flamingo Beach. The tide pools and swing on the beach are both great, too!

The condo was more than sufficient for a relaxing vacation. The washer and dryer were much appreciated and worked very well! The beach chairs and beach towels were wonderful touches that we made use of during our stay. There is a store nearby and restaurants nearby as well. We found it very convenient to both make meals in the condo and walk to restaurants when we wanted to eat out. The new marina out front is amazing and we took a sailing charter that left right from the marina. So convenient! The stores and restaurants on the first floor of the marina villas are very nice as well.

The place is well located, close to Flamingo Beach, easy to walk to the Flamingo Marina, the condo was very nice and accommodated all guests fairly well. It is also very close to a bakery, and ice cream shop and a short distance to popular places such as the Coco Loco restaurant and Margaritaville. Location was also very safe and very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

The view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous. Abigail was very helpful in giving us instructions on how to get to the location with check in being very easy! We had plenty of space for our family of 8 with everything being clear on what the Airbnb offered. Two supermarkets are nearby and beautiful beaches as well. Parking was free and easy and the area was very safe and secure. The best Airbnb in which we had stayed at.

Our 6 day stay was absolutely fantastic at this property. The place is beautiful with outstanding views of the ocean nearby. It is easily within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and beaches. Our concierge (Abigail Arias) was also great in helping get various tours set up that made the trip go incredibly smoothly. Can't say enough good things about it.

We traveled with another couple and had plenty of space. The beach in front of us was beautiful and perfect for swimming. Abigail was our concierge from BZE and ensured we had the best you opportunities for our liking. Highly recommended!

It was in a good location and communication was good. However the photos made the apartment look bigger than it is and we did not have any hot water (for showers) for the duration of our trip, though I did ask about this upfront as I saw in a different review that another guest had an issue and I was informed that the issue had been dealt with. The private beach is more like a bay, though lovely warm water. But you would be better off spending time at a different beach rather than the one at the back - it was good for some morning snorkelling though. The facilities were otherwise good. Please note that the apartment is 2 floor up and there are no elevators - not exhausting at all, but to note if travelling with older people and big luggage (like us). The area is lovely and there are ample restaurants nearby. There is currently some construction work at the front so the room with two single beds does get affected by this in the morning.

This was a perfect spot for our family, with plenty of room inside and out, a fantastic view and a beach right out front. We appreciated the beach chairs and cooler as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Alejandro and Abigail were very responsive hosts. We had a few hiccups due to regional maintenance that truly seemed to be outside of the owners control. Nevertheless, they acted quickly and responded to messages usually within 10 min. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Awesome kitchen and amenities. Beach chairs and towels were a welcome touch. The ocean view was a welcome bonus. Highly recommend Playa Flamingo and Playa Brasilito if you want calmer less crowded beaches. Playa Tamarindo is super touristy but the sunset is unobstructed and beautiful. Highly recommended!

Great location on small private beach and short walk to Playa Flamingo and local activities! Good size condo; clean and well appointed including a cooler and 4 chairs to take to the beach. Having a washer & dryer and full size kitchen and grill on terrace came in handy. I'd highly recommend for a lovely beach vacation!

The only challenge we had was no hot water for the showers during our stay which was unfortunate but know they are looking into to get it fixed.

Stunning views and sound of crashing waves made it all worthwhile! Kitchen was well- stocked and made staying home to eat easy. Yet, several good nearby restaurants within walking distance. Blue Zone Experience lined up diving, snorkeling, and sunset cruise which was super helpful and saved us a lot of time to work through them! Construction on Marina and in next door condo unit was slightly annoying, but we left for the day on excursions anyway and didn't encounter the hammering and cranes too much. Showers were cold and low pressure, but 3 bathrooms was handy! Laundry and beach towels were really helpful and appreciated. We highly recommend this location over a place in nearby Tamarindo if you don't need touristy beach scene!

Wonderful location .Boats in harbour when you look out front window and idyllic view across bay from balcony.Private cove with beach at end of garden was lovely to swin in.10 minute walk to Flamingo beach with bigger waves and fun on bougie boards ,beach service from restaurants and easy to hire loungers and gazebos for shade or lie under a tree .Lots of nice restaurants within a short walk and corner shop for essentials. Magical appartment with 3 large bedrooms ,fully equipped kitchen and nice sitting area indoors to chillout watching TV or the ocean.Balcony so relaxing with the sound of waves lapping. My daughter spotted a whale and a stingray while sitting on balcony which so excited us.I would love to go back again.Just wish it was closer to England.

Como súper host me gusta cuando la gente comparte conmigo en privado si hay algo que no estuvo bien.
El apartamento es muy bonito y todo bien menos las duchas. Están tapadas y duele bañarse porque el agua sale como agujas de la presión. Yo traté de destapar el del segundo piso pero hay que abrirlo y quitarle el calcio que tiene acumulado. La gente que durmió abajo me dijo que tenía el mismo problema. Muchas gracias por todo

We had a great time! The condo was beautiful, had an amazing view from the balcony and easy access to a private beach. It was clean and had very comfortable beds and amazing A/C. Also, the location was perfect. Close to everything we needed!

Great stay, great location, walking distance to Flamingo and the beach cove in front of the condo is fantastic!

The place is kept up and very comfortable. The beach is basically private and the hosts have all the essentials there for you (beach towels, chairs, cooler and snorkeling equipment). Parking can be a little tight but there is a gentleman always looking out. We had some water heater and pressure issues that they tried to fix but were unable to due to needing parts. The gentlemen were very friendly and professional. We would come back again.

Our stay was overall good. The unit (on the top floor and by stairs) was clean and spacious, with nice appliances. The beach was nice and private. There are food restaurants walking distance.
Our only negative reviews are the water in the downstairs bathrooms were too cold to stand and the water pressures not strong.
The balcony door would not lock, which can be a safety concern. I sent an email that was responded to, but no one ever came by to address the issues.
There's construction happening on the same side of building as the unit as well as new construction down the street. They start promptly at 8:30 am local time. If you want to sleep in, bring some ear plugs or have music on.
Overall, we'd stay again, but after the in home issues were addressed and we'd personally wait a bit for construction to complete.

The view and little private beach are beautiful! The balcony was a great way to start every day. Water pressure was ok, but otherwise everything was great!

Absolutely loved this place! You have a beautiful view from the balcony, and my wife and I loved waking up and enjoying the view of the ocean waves softly hitting the shore and seeing the neighboring iguanas leave the trees and come down to the grass field to forage. The view is absolutely amazing! The unit itself is cleaned and we'll kept. There is some major construction going on out front of the condo (they are completely redoing the marina and boat harbor and building what looks like a hotel) so there is some work going on the entrance side of the condo, but it really did not disturb us at all. Highly recommend this place. You also have what is essentially a private beach and my wife and I loved going down each morning and getting our "salt water therapy" by relaxing in the water for an hour. Again, Highly recommend this place!

Alejandro's place is absolutely beautiful! It's a perfect location to be able to explore Flamingo and the surrounding areas with no more than a golf cart, which are easily rented from places in town. The view from the back balcony is breathtaking, overlooking the semi-private beach shared with only a handful of other residents staying at the resort. There is construction on the Marina taking place but it's an encouraging sign of redevelopment in the area. Kelly and Olber helped us with rides from the airport, cart rentals, excursions, and any other requests we had while staying in Flamingo. If you are looking for a sun-kissed corner of the world to relax to the sound of crashing waves, look no further! We will definitely be back.

El lugar con excelente ubicación tuvimos un par de detalles con una cama extra que tuve que rentar que no era lo que esperaba pero nada que no se pudiera arreglar ,definitivamente lo volvería a rentar ,

Close to excursions/fishing, enjoyed beach in front of the resort & dining on the balcony (seating for 6 and grill). Nice linens with A/C slept well. Packed a cooler from the condo (ice maker & froze water bottles) and drove the 4 chairs & beach towels around the corner to the beach with shade trees for a day. Loved food at Loco Moco. Didn’t have time to use the Snorkel gear for 4. Condos on either side isolated particularly the king room facing the ocean from the construction. The upstairs queen room & other bedroom were more noticeable, but didn’t seem to keep our group from sleeping in!

Very nice Airbnb! We were really happy and satisfied. The kitchen is well equipped, the house is clean and the service excellent. You have direct access to a semi-private beach, which is absolutely beautiful. You get to Tamarindo in half an hour with the car.
We would recommend this Airbnb - 10/10!

Everything was great. The condo was clean and had broom/cleaner to maintain cleanliness throughout the stay. Washer/dryer was a great get, too. Previous reviews did make note of the water pressure and while we had bouts of good pressure the majority of the stay did not had adequate water pressure- if the water situation got fixed I would give it a 10/10, rather than a 9.5/10. We were very pleased and look forward to going back. Pura Vida!

The condo was nice and clean and located in a great location! The communication was quick and helpful. The only thing is there was a lot of construction on the road to get into the condo.
