-pros: great views, very spacious, quick response times from concierge, pool was nice, house was clean with plenty of towels, plenty of dishes & pots and pans, security system and double gates…very safe, every room had outdoor/pool access

-cons: water pressure in the main room’s bathroom was odd (spraying everywhere) and the water was not warm, no outdoor plug to charge our golf cart, check out at 10am felt rushed, gas stove was hard to turn on, door to the outside wouldn’t stay closed unless you locked it, location of the house in regards to steep hill that’s very dark at night (be careful there’s a short drop on the side)…I was able to drive to golf cart up and down but it was intense

Overall we had a great time and I believe the pros outweighed the cons.

This property is amazing! Beautiful views overlooking the marina. Pool is wonderful, and the property was just what we expected. Communication for check in was great. We love the Playa Flamingo area and this house was perfect. I would recommend this house for anyone with a family looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful environment.

Thus is a beautiful property on the top of a hill. I recommend it for a family of four or six. The view s are great and so is the infinity pool. Staff were all helpful. Full kitchen, multiple TVs and solid internet.

Great location beautiful views. Easily check ins and great service when there was a problem.
Cons. Kitchen appliances need a up grade ( no toaster)
Could have more comfortable sofa in TV room. Chairs outside need to be replaced.
If I’m being picky that’s my right. In summary it was a great place to chill out. Close to good restaurants and Playa flamingo is a great beach. People are friendly. The staff and service people for the house are very professional and prompt. Would come again

This stay was nothing short of perfect, and we all agreed we would stay in this house again in the future. The pool alone was worth it! Abigail was our concierge and she was very responsive and helped a lot with planning before and during the trip. She made sure everything ran smoothly. She was there to greet us on the first day and go over the layout of the house. Truly a hard to beat experience.

Our stay at Villa Suenos was just what we needed to experience Costa Rica and the area! Prior to arriving, our concierge, Abby, was very helpful in answering our questions and setting up shuttles, excursions, a private chef and a rental car - all directly from the house which made everything very convenient! Upon arrival, the house was very clean and while the house had some updates since the photos were taken, we were very pleased with the setup. The pool area was probably the best feature of the house with views of the ocean and sunshine all afternoon though the living room came in a close second as the lounge area allowed for wonderful views as well. We even had an iguana friend come by every day to sun himself :) Each morning, we had a group of parrots hang out in the tree out front and many other birds throughout the day. Only minor thing to mention is it’s quite close to the main road so you do hear cars/trucks drive by, but still would recommend booking here.

The house and views are incredible. Abigail helped us so much during our stay and was responsive to any need or questions we had. She helped us even before our stay. There are numerous local restaurants within a few minutes and two markets close for anything you need. Thank you again Abigail for helping us plan our stay.

The place was beautiful and so unique! The only issue we had was it is not sealed up and we couldn't figure out how to turn off all the lights at night so the round living room area was covered in bugs and lizard poop in the mornings. But other than that the pool was fantastic, kitchen had everything we needed and the size and layout were really fun!

This is a magical location! We will be planning our future trips around this property! The property is a little difficult to find BUT you are given pictures and instructions on where to go which are so helpful when you get there! This place does have a lot of wild life around and some goes get inside but it was a WONDERFUL place to stay!

Wonderful stay for 6 of us! The pool and view was a highlight of our trip. Our concierge, Abby, was very responsive and patient and helped us organize various activities from horseback riding to a private chef for a birthday dinner. She is by far the best concierge I’ve encountered on any trip! She coordinated transportation to and from every location as well.

The house is located on a steep hill and close to restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Highly recommend for a small group traveling to Costa Rica!

Amazing place its clean , Has everything you need and the concierge will help you with anything from chefs to groceries 1000X’s better then any hotel near by very private and safe cant wait to go back thank you ! - pictures dont do it justice way better in person !

We enjoyed our stay! The views are amazing! The only issue was the small bugs that come in from outside. However, the home is in the jungle which allows for creatures and nature. The home has everything you need. When we had an issue Alejandro was quick to respond and assist.

Our stay was wonderful, the place was beautiful, and Abigail was absolutely amazing. She booked all our excursions and anything else we needed she was on top of it. The location was perfect! You were able to emerse yourself in Costa Rican culture but if you wanted something more upscale it was just a short drive down the road. We would definitely stay again!

I don’t think there was a better place we could have found for the price in this area. We enjoyed it a lot and would come back if we ever visited again. Definitely recommend

My guests and I stayed here for my birthday weekend. And let me tell you…the place was GORGEOUS! A beautiful view to wake up to and a lovely pool to swim all night. Definitely stay here for around 5 days!
We landed a bit early in Costa Rica and our concierge, Abigail was very helpful & responsive every step of the way. She coordinated our grocery & car rental delivery to the property flawlessly. We had such a wonderful & relaxing experience!

Wanted a place so nice that if I didn’t want to explore the area, I would feel great just hanging at the house and pool and that was exactly what we got!

Pros: Host is incredible. Got groceries delivered before arrival. Provided recommendations for local cooks to cook at the house for us. When asked, completely resolved a couple minor issues. Master bed very cozy. Access to home all electronic. Kitchen fully stocked. Even an airfryer. POOL WAS EVERYTHING I HOPED! Stayed cool and refreshing. Very clean. Big. Well lit at night. Exactly as pictured. AC and fans in all bedrooms, very effective. Very specific and helpful directions. Def need a rental car, but only 5 minutes to many nice restaurants.

Only Con: No AC in kitchen or round sitting area and some of the bathrooms that were open to outside. So we only cooked breakfast. Maybe norm in CR but not central air.

Loved this place. Total relaxation with many hours in and around the pool with cocktails and snacks.

Unbelievable views from all over the house. It was exactly as it described and we were never without what we needed. Host was very responsive and friendly. Only suggestion I have is clearer instructions of how to get to the house. Even with the Waze app it was difficult to find, especially in the neighborhood. Once you know where you're going its a breeze. If you have to drive through the 911, do it during the day as some parts are not paved.

The house looks like the photos. The location is perfect and easily accesses everything you need. Driveway accommodates a car without the need for 4x4. Abby was fabulous and worked quickly to find a solution when the internet stopped working so we could keep working. The house has beach towels, a cooler, chairs, and basic supplies. We will definitely come back again.

The views and location were absolutely breathtaking… the pictures don’t do it justice! The property feels very private and secure with all the amenities you could ask for! I’d like to especially mention Abigail, she was amazing throughout our stay and was so helpful and responsive! Anyone planning on visiting the area, I would definitely recommend staying here… in your own private paradise!

We had an excellent stay—the photos are accurate. The view is amazing. The location is convenient. Less than a 2-3 minute drive to the beach and local restaurants. Abigail was a great concierge and quick to respond whenever anything was needed.

Spectacular view! We spent most of our time outside by the pool enjoying the scenery and watching the birds. The pool was fabulous but unfortunately the lounge chair cushions by the pool were being repaired so we needed to use the high-top table instead. This worked - just not as comfortable. Also spent time at Playa Prieta, which was a little hard to find but a beautiful beach. Abigail responded very quickly to all our questions and requests. Lovely stay!

It was really beautiful. The view was great, but above all, Abigail, who communicated with us, responded quickly. Our family really enjoyed the time there! Flamingo beach was close and swimming pool was also great !!

The upper floor of this house was beautiful. The view was amazing out to the Marina and ocean beyond. The location was ideal to Playa Flamingo and Potrero. We have stayed in this very same immediate area 5 times prior. This house was low on the hill and had a lot of road noise below. The lot next door also had construction being done - so pounding noise from that as well. The host team was very responsive to inquiries and was great to work with.

Beautiful and comfortable place!!!

Our family of 4 spent 12 nights. It looked like the pictures and the host Alexandra was friendly and responsive. We had a few minor issues, which she promptly fixed when possible. The internet didn't work one day (not her fault).

The place is hard to find. It's up a hill and not marked where you turn to go on a small dirt road off the cement. Suggest going in daylight and having the host guide you the first time.

The place is a 5 to 10 minute drive from 2 beaches. I wouldn't suggest walking since the roads are narrow and steep and many cars go up/down even though it's a single lane. We loved Playa Flamingo.

Renting a car is a must unless you have tours all planned and have food figured out. Driving is very different and difficult. Be alert.

Place was noisy - dogs barking and birds most of the night.

Lots of bugs come inside. Hire cleaning.

Eat at Shack

It could easily be a legitimate 5 star place if you know ahead of time and are prepared

Wow what a view!!! On the side of the hill the villa looks over the sea. Surrounded by lush green vegetation which attracted beautiful birds and butterflies and a sole howler monkey looking for a mate, it was magical. The pool was fabulous!! The host was fantastic organising an initial food shop and taxi’s for new year. The villa was huge with lots of space. Fans and air conditioning helped keep the villa cool. What a great finish to our Costa Rica trip. Conchal and Flamingo beach were beautiful. As we had been previously travelling around a lot and eating out a lot me made the most of the kitchen and we cooked a lot. The kitchen was well set up to cater. Thank you for giving us access to your amazing home!

The place is pretty much identical to every photo they just didn't show cooler parts of the house in the photos. We all absolutely loved it Alejandra's willing to go above and beyond. She even offered to stock the house with food and booze for us prior to us getting down there. She was so sweet and responsive about locations to eat, check out flexibility and constantly checked in to see if we were enjoying our time or needed anything. The Villa is safe, private and was just a perfect week. Excursions were super convenient to get too. Tamarindo isn't to far if you want to party and shop. When I come back if I do not own a house I will be staying here. Place was clean (does get alittle buggy but that is expected) Walk to the beach is about 8mins down the hill. 5 stars all around we went with 3 couples every room had their own bathroom. My only issue is the master has no connection to wifi from the bed and my BIGGEST ISSUE was that we had to leave Costa Rica. Pura Vida
