Tamarindo Sunset was an amazing place to stay in Tamarindo during January. The property is in a quiet neighborhood on a hill, which was lovely since the breeze would keep us cool during the evenings. Upon arrival, the house was clean and stocked with many kitchen supplies, appliances, and laundry detergent. All of the AC units worked great, with no leakage. Midway through our stay we were offered a "house refreshment" where housekeeping came by to clean the house, change any dirty linens, and wash the towels. The house also came with two parking spots outside the house. The house is a 15 min walk to the town's main center. I would love to stay here again with my family if I was to come back to Tamarindo.

Tamarindo Sunset was exactly as described and presented in the pictures. It was an oasis in paradise. Alejandro was quick to respond to all requests and communication was great. I highly recommend this place especially for families. Close to all Tamarindo has to offer and a peaceful retreat at the end of the day.

The house itself was way bigger than I thought and absolutely gorgeous! Great location, within walking distance to everything. The only issue was there was no hot water for the showers. They would come fix it late morning but it’d go back to cold showers with no water pressure by evening when we needed the showers after getting sweaty and dirty from excursions.

The house was great and well equipped to handle a family of 5. Only issue was no hot water in showers. They did send someone out twice to check, but it was not repaired during our stay, so we had to take cold showers (water would become room temp after several minutes-never hot-but water pressure would decrease so much you could not use).

Our stay was wonderful. The place is private and quiet, just out of the main busier area.

The house was actually bigger than we thought and really clean. Great air conditioning through out. The pool was lovely too.

When the pool needed cleaning they popped out straight away to do it.

Super helpful with all our requests and questions.

If you are walking (which we were), there is a short steepish road to the house which might be important to know if you have mobility issues.

Beautiful house, spotlessly clean, and gorgeous pool! The air conditioning was wonderful to have. Loved the covered outdoor space for sitting and watching the bursts of rain. The beds were really comfortable, and having a washing machine and dryer was a big help.

The only drawback to this place is that it's just far enough away from the beach to be awkward. We walked back and forth, but it was nearly a kilometre, and that was enough that we had to plan to be away from the house for the whole day. With nowhere safe to leave our stuff while we swam, it limited our activities a bit. The walk was okay and we felt safe, it was just a bit far.

The house was just as described. Beautiful and clean. We were greeted by a family of Howler Monkeys, which was quite a treat as we never saw them again near the house. The house was very clean and well stocked. We had a couple of questions throughout our stay and received a response very quickly. We loved the location as it was just a few minutes outside of town, which we preferred. Highly reccomend.

This house is even better in person! Downstairs is the room w/ 2 queen beds and a room with a king, and upstairs is a king suite. All the rooms are very nice and have a private bathroom. There’s also a half bath downstairs.
The house is spotless, and the cleaners came frequently and do such a great job. The infinity pool is a nice size and very clean. We didn’t anticipate the unpaved roads and potholes, but that’s the standard there except on the main roads, so that isn’t specific to this house. We were glad we rented cars even though it’s not a really far distance from town and the beach. Visit Playa Conchal. The concierge service is SO helpful with planning/booking adventures. The couch is spacious and there’s plenty of seating everywhere. Would absolutely book again. Enjoy!

We love, love the accommodations at Tamarindo Sunset and we plan to return. Stylish, functional, spacious, and clean. The outdoor patio is amazing. Great for groups of adult friends or a family. Everyone will have room and privacy. Rented a car. Travelled to other beaches in about 30 to 40 minutes.

The hosts are so helpful and communicative!! The place is fully stocked, and every question we had was answered on demand. Highly recommend!!!!

Great house, particularly loved the pool!

Great support from the house management team. Highly recommend staying here if you visit Tamarindo. Recommend getting a golf cart for moving around Tamarindo. Much easier than a rental car. Pay for a ride if you are going for an excursion.

We had an amazing time, one of the best houses in Tamarindo. Security and privacy are excellent.
Very clean, and has all the amenities that you need.
Walk distance from the house to downtown is great, mornings you can walk and buy fresh Bread.
I will recommend it to a family and for group of friends.

Great little house set close enough to town to feel the energy of Tamarindo but just far enough away for the right amount of privacy.

This home had everything just like it says plus more. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of clean linens and kitchen towels, toilet paper and even tin foil etc. they also had Tupperware which was amazing!! The house was clean, the pool was immaculate and the tv is huge. Check in and communication was super easy. We had one little problem and they came immediately to fix it. Beds were super comfy. They even had beach chairs and boogie boards for our use!!

The location and house was great. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfy! House was perfect.

Beautiful place to stay in Tamarindo. The host has a team working with him to ensure our trip was as good as possible. They helped organize transporation to and from the airport, within Tamarindo via Golf Cart rental and even offered to organize a personal chef, excursions and nights out in Tamarindo. If I'm going back to Tamarindo, I will be staying again in the Villa!

The house is exactly as in the pictures, the pool and patio made for some nice evenings that we just wanted to stay in.

It’s a short 10 minute walk to all the restaurants and bars and 15 minutes to the beach.
