We had an amazing stay at Reserva Conchal! The condo well very well stocked and the A/C felt great with temps in the 90’s all week. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck with amazing views each morning. To our surprise, the Beach Club and beach were not busy. Kids enjoyed swimming at the pool by our condo in the evening as well. The ocean was calm in this area - great for our younger children.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor (each with their own bathroom) and another bed/bath on the upper floor. The layout was great to give everybody some space.

We saw lots of iguanas, birds, and monkeys while walking around the property. The condo near the entrance to the complex and ~8-10min drive to Beach Club. There are plenty of restaurants that we enjoyed in nearby Brasilito and Playa Flamingo (10-15min drive).

The management company was highly responsive via What’s App and we didn’t have any issues with check-in or communications. I would highly recommend this condo to anybody!

Area and location is great, beautiful scenery, quiet and easy access to the beach club and other activities in the area. Unit is roomy and has great views, although a but of refresh wouldn't hurt. Communication with the host was troublesome. I didnt get my check in instructions until a day of and after I reached out. I was promised to get help with local activities, but noone reached out after numerous reminders. Activities for the complex where I stayed in were sent to me for the month of March, even though we stayed in February. When asked if there is a February list, I was told yes but never received a copy. Otherwise our family was happy with the stay and would recommend the unit.

Great place for families. Lots of activities in the area. Look forward to going back.

This was a fabulous stay. We loved the surroundings, the views, spaciousness, and cleanliness of the place. The drive to the beach was on private roads inside the Westin/W/Reserva Conchal facility but we enjoyed swimming in the pool right next to the Airbnb. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to cook and had dinner with the view of the sun setting. We loved everything about it, except that there was no hot water at night to shower. During our stay the hot water was broken and even with the responsive concierge it didn't get fixed while we were there.

The condo was amazing! The views were simply stunning. The property amenities and beach club were first-rate. The showers were hot, and air conditioning cold, and Alejandro was very responsive to all our questions. We enjoyed the balcony views, and the beach with kayaks and paddleboards were a big family favorite. The mountain bike rentals were a plus as well. The restaurant at the beach was great, but it is a 10-minute drive from the apartment. The complex has a free shuttle to get you down to the beach! If you want to venture into town, tamarindo, brasilito or flamingo beach, a car is essential. We were provided with an extensive list of tours and activities that they could help us book, and a grocery shopping list as well. We would absolutely stay here again if we are back in playa conchal!

"Amazing Stay"

Six slightly aging but active Canadians rented a three bedroom Bougainvillea condo with the help of Blue Zone Experiences. The condo was everything that was advertised: well appointed and immaculate. We loved having access to the Beach Club and golf course. Check in and billing was seamless.
The highlight was the attentive and professional help from our concierge Alexandra Arguedas! Very available and full of local knowledge to help us plan and book our activities: turtle discovery, catamaran sailing and a local chef to cook dinner in our suite. Alex was a delight - we would recommend her without hesitation.

PURA VIDA. I was hoping to give a great review and I am hoping that improvements will be done to remedy the issues that we experienced on our vacation so that others will not have the same experience. The positives about this location is the awesome view from the balcony, the location (the Resort), the beach and the access to a restaurant at beachside. The negatives was the soiled and stained furniture in the unit such as the couch, diningroom chairs, outdoor sofa. The furniture is dated and the lack of furniture in the units creates echo sound from the a/c unit when on makes for a not so peaceful sleep. The biggest issue for me because I love to cook was the infestation of ants as well as spiders. I literally had to throw away all the food we had just bought because within hours everything was covered with tiny white ants. There were all over everything in every cabinet. Once I informed Alejandro, no one came out until later in the next day or so. I must say that his response was not the most professional one. He stated that he wished I had said something earlier. How early? I was only in the unit for a day or two. We also did not plan to be in the unit all day everyday. So when we realized that there was obviously an ant issue we informed them. I found his tone and response to be insulting to say the least considering the cost per day for this unit. Everything is practically white and lacks comfort and style but great location. The cleaning service did come out however the ants remained. We purchased some spray which made the unit smell like bug spray all day. We did not let this ruin our trip however we would not recommend it nor would stay again in this unit. The wifi does not work as well either. I had to stand outside the unit to get a good signal or in the corner of the bedroom and not move so that I could make a call.

Excellent location! Amazing views and easy access to the beach with a car. The beach club is great for kids and the paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes were great fun for the adults. Best beach we have seen in Costa Rica. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our family stay. Highly recommend!

The Condo is beautiful, spacious and comfortable! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glasses and everything you would need! The view is spectacular! Highly Recommended!

We had a pleasant stay at Reserva Conchal Bougainvilla The condo is quite large and bright and was well equipped with everything we needed including beach towels and chairs which were a nice touch. Our favorite place to hang out was on the large balcony overlooking the beautiful golf course. The resort is quite large and you will need transportation to the beach and beach club pools. There is complimentary shuttle service but we did not use it. Playa Conchal is very beautiful but the condos central location made it easy to travel to other sights such as Palo Verde, Playa Grande or Playa Flamingo.

Nice modern place. spacious and clean. Everything that you need is in the apartment. super convenientto have access to the beach club and the condominium's pool.

"Review of Bougainvillea 4315"

GREAT RENTAL! This condo sits right in the middle of the complex and is the highest so the views are amazing. Everything works and there are a lot of extra great kitchen appliances. We do not have a single complaint. The only minor things are that the coffee maker is slow so either needs to be descaled or replaced and there wasn't a knife sharpener. But again, those are extremely minor issues and not worth taking any credit away from this great rental and review. We loved the access to the beach club as it also has great access to Playa Conchal with only a couple of steps to privacy, beach showers, shaded chairs and a couple of pools. We didn't use the Westin although we could have. The other thing we liked is that you can walk to a couple of really nice local restaurants as well as the grocery store (which takes credit cards). They are a little bit of a walk but we didn't mind at all. Papaya's is very good as is Anders. Both are on the same side of the street as the grocery store. We used Blue Water to coordinate all of our activities and they executed flawlessly. If you do the Arenal Volcano tour be sure to upgrade to the zip line and request to have Edwin as your guide. We also did the Sunset Catamaran which was nice. It was a really windy day the snorkeling was so-so but overall a very good time. Finally, we used Blue Water for private surfing lessons and had a guy named Cairo (sp?). That was a great time and he was a very good instructor. Overall, you cannot go wrong renting this property. My only advice is to consider having a rental car the whole time. We had one for 3 days and used it to do some beach hopping and also drive to the Beach Club. If we were to go again we would rent a car from the airport and return it as the route is very straight forward and Google maps worked fine for us. Make sure you go to Tamarindo early and beat the crowds but make sure you go. Our favorite beach was Playa Grande. We had a great day in the waves. We also went to Playa Hermanos (good snorkely along the rocks on the far right side) and Playa Cocos but we didn't care for those beaches as much as they were more "muddy" than sandy. Don't hesitate to jump on this property. You won't regret it.

"Relaxing place to stay"

Reserva Conchal is a large resort with a beautiful infrastructure. We stayed in a condominium in the Bougainvillea section. It was approximately a 5 minute shuttle ride to the Beach Club.
Guests staying in the condiminiums have use of the Beach Club facilities and complimentary breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The Beach Club facilities are very nice. The beach is beautiful. Getting to Reserva Conchal from the local Tamarindo Airport is only 10 minutes, the Liberia International Airport is only 45 minutes, while the trip from San José is 3 hours 1/2, by car. All apartments are rented with the breakfast option, otherwise this apartment is fully equipted with all you need for cooking you own meals. The apartment we rented this week-end was a two master bedrooms, which included incredible views of the resort and ocean, a third room with two single beds, there is a large dining-living area, 3 bathrooms located in each bedroom, large kitchen area and a very large terrace with excellent veiw of the golf course and beach and sea beyond. We had a wonderful time and hopelly will go back next year.
