Great location, throughly enjoyed our stay. Ground floor unit was extremely convent. Security guards were vigilant and friendly.

Thank You for letting us rent out your Airbnb, it was beautiful, easy to access for our mobility issues. The grounds are beautiful and have easy access to The Diria through their main gate. The Diria condos are hands down the best spot to be in Tamarindo! You are right in the middle of all of the action, directly across the street from the beach, and surrounding a beautiful lagoon pool. This is our second time working with Blue Zone and our first time staying in Matapalo 103. Blue Zone has always been graciously helpful, quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. Matapalo 103 had everything we needed for our stay including beach towels and chairs, laundry and a fully-equipped kitchen. Traveling with kids, you know how important these things are! Our favorite thing about this unit is the location on the ground floor near the pool. The kids could run out several times a day for a swim, and the nightly sunsets were spectacular. We will absolutely work with Blue Zone for future stays and would return to Matapalo 103 in a heartbeat!

great spot!

We had a lovely stay in Tamarindo. It was right across from the beach. It was close to everything and the pool access was right outside the door. The condo was clean. The AC was amazing especially as it was very hot and humid. Amazing restaurants within walking distance. A great location and very comfortable for our family of four.

We had a fantastic time. Condo was clean and well equipped. Being able to use Diria amenities was invaluable. Everyone at Bluewater was accommodating and very responsive. 20/10.

Condo in the resort (two pools each with swim up bars) our favorite of the trip. Easily walked to beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and small grocery convenient. 2 chairs, ice maker & cooler in the condo. No problem finding surf boards to rent on the beach. Could have easily lined up an excursion w/o car, and didn’t drive ours while there. Spacious for our group of 5. Nice linens & beds, clean. Condos to either side, so no noise from passers by. Car parked on one side, pool on the other and ground floor location great. I booked inside of two days, so the automatic email with check in code didn’t arrive (stayed with same host next & received no problem). Very grateful for their help in getting us the code after!

Alejandro and his team were great at communicating throughout our stay. The location is about a 2 minute walk to the beach, and right across from an outdoor food market with a real vibe at night. The property was clean however a few things to note:
1. At the time we stayed (December 2021) there was a lot of work taking place at the property. Each morning about 7:30am the building staff were in front of our patio doing overhead work, quite loud speaking with some noisy machinery. We could not use the patio privately in the mornings.
2. The bathroom shower fixtures could use updating. The toilet required some effort in flushing (need to press and hold firmly).
3. The laundry room had a musty smell we could not put our finger on.
4. The parking lot and road leading to the beach was under construction at the time of our stay and unsafe to walk if you have young children/elderly folks.

Good value for the price and good location.

Perfect Place to spend a vacation

"Best vacation ever!"

I just loved this place! The condo was beautiful--I loved how bright and airy the kitchen was and all the space that was available, and I had some of the greatest nights sleep I have every had on vacation. The pool was amazing, and I loved how the condo was so centrally located with all the restaurants and shopping in Tamarindo and Langosta (the best pizza is the Risto pizza there). I'm diffidently going to be coming back!

Recently stayed at the Matapolo condominium #103, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations. The location was wonderful...Private and shady patio, a short walk-out to the pool, yet not too close to be disturbed by noise. A three-minute walk to an incredible beach.
The condo itself was newly updated and very spacious, with a new smart tv in the living room, a beautiful and well-equipped kitchen, and oh-so-comfortable mattresses and bedding. We can't wait to return! Pam

"This place is the definition of “pura vida!” I cannot recommend it enough!!!"

Where do I even begin? This condo was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect size for the 4 of us who visited, but could have easily fit 3 maybe 4 more people! The accommodations in the condo and area are fantastic: the kitchen and its array of appliances allows for cooking meals and the town of Tamarindo offers some of the best food I have ever tasted (the Italian wood fired pizza and arepas are TO DIE FOR). It’s all reasonably priced and 100% worth it! There is even a farmers market within a 3 minute walk of the condo that happens, I believe, twice every week. It has the most amazing fresh fruit and vegetables, artisanal goods, and empanadas. When we went there, we got local honeys, their assortment of fresh food, and some of the woodwork and jewelry that multiple vendors sell. I can’t say enough about how amazing the food is here haha! The condo also has a light, spacious, and relaxing sitting room, beautiful patio with a sitting area, brand new smart TV which makes movie nights super fun, large bathrooms and bedrooms and the. most. amazing. view. It was such a joy to sit on the outside patio overlooking the greenery and eating some fresh mango and pineapple while listening to the birds and howlers monkeys! This place is the definition of “pura vida!” The condo seriously felt so clean and makes you feel at home but so relaxed! The huge infinity pool and hot tub are within a 15 second walk from the door (being on the bottom level is actually one of the greatest things! There is no need to climb flights of stairs to get anywhere, it’s all just right in front of you!), but the house is quiet and very well covered so people aren’t staring into your home haha. The beautiful swimming and surfing beach is also about a 1 or 2 minute walk from the condo’s back door (ITS AMAZING HOW EASY AND FAST IT IS TO GET THERE). The top of the apartment complex, which you can get to by elevator or stairs, also offers some of the best views of a sunset that I have EVER seen!!! When I tell you the location is perfect, I mean it is absolutely perfect! Everyone is so kind in the town and I feel so safe in the condo and while exploring the town and beach. The owners of the condo, Duane and Pam, are also incredibly kind and were so accommodating. This was one of the most positive traveling experiences I have ever had. I will absolutely be returning to this town and condo, there is no question about it!

"I can’t say enough good things about this place!"

The location is awesome. We love the ground floor unit with the convenience of opening the sliding backdoor and walking right through our patio to the pool and beach! It is just steps away from the Resort's 10,000 sf pool, yet it is tucked away behind foliage giving us plenty of privacy. We also are looking forward to the new Children's Arts and Craft Center opening up in a week. It's located just 50 ft away from this unit and parents can drop off their children 4-10 (12?) years old for 3 hours, twice a day at no charge! The unit was just extensively remodeled a few weeks ago and is in pristine condition. It's large at 1500 sf for a 2-bedroom and really feels like a 3 bedroom condo.The Matapalo Condos are located within the Hotel's Resort and are the only beachfront resort in Tamarindo. Restaurants and shopping - are all within walking distance - no need to have a car. I noticed that the pull out sleeper sofa (queen size) is being replaced and a door was added to quiet the A/C area. I give it a strong 5-star review. Thank you Blue Water Properties for finding this little gem for us - you've done a great job.

"Great place to stay!"

me and my family were there in june 2016. The condo is really beautiful and our apartment at the first floor absolutely great! the seating area outside, the facilities available in the apartment, the interior design, the pool just close to the apartment, and many other small refinements (I remember the beautiful pictures by local artists) made it like a small jewel!! Absolutely perfect for a family and for a couple of friends. I will return...soon!!!

"No better place"

I wanted to try Costarica after having heard a lot about the marvellous nature in that. Being a gyrocopter flyer i also wanted to try and fly in this new part of teh world. I found this condo in Tamarindo and it fullfilled all my expectations in terms of confort and opportunity to reach beaches, restaurants and public transportation. Being without a car that was a key feature for me. The apartment is just a few step away from a gorgeous pool and, in case you want to reach the beach, you just have to cross the road. I had a very helaty stay enjoyng surf lesson very early in the morning an then after a juicy breakfast i loved walking up to "playa grande" (the famous beach where the big turtles nest). There I was able to watch the ocean not surrounded by the usual crowd of the touristic place. A little paradise corner... Being the aprtment in downtown Tamarindo all the best restaurants are reachable with no effort. I was able to spend every evening in a different place enjoying always great food. It was faboulous. Really something i would suggest to everyone.

"Fantastic experience"

It was a fantastic experience. The condo had great access to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Being on the first floor is very convient to the pool and to easily refill your cocktail. The layout of the condo is perfect for two couples or a family. I can't wait to return. No question this will be the place I stay.

Would highly recommend staying here for a dream vacation. The accomodations and the area surpassed my very high expectations. Would highly recommend and I will be booking my next vaction here very soon
